Two Paths, One Academy
Movement Nordic Walking Academy offers a two-level certification path: Level 1 (Guide) for those who want to lead Nordic Walking informally, and Level 2 (Instructor) for those ready to teach professionally. Level 2 builds directly on Level 1 — complete Guide certification first, then continue to full Instructor certification when you’re ready.
Level 1 — Nordic Walking Guide

A 2-day course for personal and community use.
Perfect for anyone who wants to properly lead Nordic Walking for themselves, their family, friends, or informal community groups — not intended for paid or professional instruction.
What You’ll Learn
- Proper Nordic Walking posture, pole technique, and stride mechanics
- Common technique errors and how to correct them
- Basic safety principles and how to guide a small group informally
Format
- Duration: 2-day in-person course
- No prior experience required
- Prerequisite for Level 2 Instructor Certification

Level 2 — Certified Nordic Walking Instructor
$549 · 3-Day Course + Online Modules
For those ready to teach Nordic Walking professionally.
Builds on your Level 1 Guide certification with advanced teaching skills and the business foundation to run your own classes, workshops, and private sessions under the Movement Nordic Walking Academy name.
Completion of Level 1 — Nordic Walking Guide certification is required. Admission to Level 2 is subject to personal approval by the Lead Trainer based on the participant’s technique, readiness and practice following Level 1. Approximately one month of regular practice after Level 1 is recommended.
