Nordic Walking Instructor Certification
Two levels, taught in person in Central Florida by Adrian Kasper, who has been teaching Nordic walking since 2013.
Two levels, one path
Level 1 — Nordic Walking Guide is for leading Nordic walking for yourself, your family, friends and informal community groups. Level 2 — Certified Nordic Walking Instructor is the professional level: it authorizes paid teaching, and admission is decided individually. Level 1 comes first; the two courses are booked and paid for separately.
Level 1 — Nordic Walking Guide

For personal and informal community use.
For anyone who wants to lead Nordic walking properly for themselves, their family, friends or an informal community group. It is not a licence to teach for payment — that is Level 2.
What you will learn
- The USAMNWA 7-Step Method: posture, walking and coordination first, then the poles
- The timing that makes it work — the pole tip and the opposite heel land together, and the hand opens and releases behind the body
- The common technique errors, and how to correct them as they happen
- Safety principles and how to guide a small group informally
Format
- Two consecutive days, in person, in Central Florida
- No prior experience required; poles are available if you do not have your own
- Required before Level 2

Level 2 — Certified Nordic Walking Instructor
$549 · 3-day course + online modules
For those ready to teach Nordic walking professionally.
Builds on Level 1 with teaching methodology and the foundation to run your own classes, workshops and private sessions under the Movement Nordic Walking Academy USA name.
Admission is not automatic. Completion of Level 1 is required, and admission to Level 2 is decided individually by the Lead Trainer based on your technique, readiness and practice after Level 1. About a month of regular practice after Level 1 is recommended. Payment never comes before approval.

Prices and locations
Level 1 is $299 and Level 2 is $549. The two are booked and paid for separately. Taken together, the full route to Instructor comes to $848 — that figure is shown for information only. There is no combined purchase, because admission to Level 2 is decided individually after Level 1.
Courses are currently held in the Orlando and Winter Park area of Central Florida. Travel courses may be priced differently.

Register for Level 1 — $299
Choose the course date you want and give us the name that should appear on the certificate. Submitting the form sends your registration to us and takes you on to secure payment of $299. Registration and payment are two separate steps — both are needed to hold a place.
Level 2 is not sold online. After Level 1, request admission and Adrian will confirm your approval, the course date and the payment details personally.
