What’s the difference between Level 1 and Level 2?
Level 1 — Nordic Walking Guide ($299, 2-day course) is for anyone who wants to properly lead Nordic Walking for themselves, family, friends, or informal community groups. It’s not intended for paid or professional instruction.
Level 2 — Certified Nordic Walking Instructor ($549, 3-day course + online modules) builds on Level 1 with advanced teaching methodology, coaching skills, and the business foundation to run paid classes, workshops, and private sessions under the Movement Nordic Walking Academy name.
Do I need experience to enroll?
No previous Nordic Walking experience is required for Level 1. Completion of Level 1 is required before Level 2, and admission to Level 2 is subject to personal approval by the Lead Trainer based on your technique, readiness and practice following Level 1. Approximately one month of regular practice after Level 1 is recommended.
Is admission to Level 2 automatic after completing Level 1?
No. Completion of Level 1 is required, but admission to Level 2 is subject to personal approval by the Lead Trainer based on your technique, readiness and practice following Level 1. Approximately one month of regular practice after Level 1 is recommended before applying. Level 1 and Level 2 are booked and paid for separately.
How much does certification cost?
Level 1 is $299, Level 2 is $549. If you complete both to become a full Instructor, the Complete Professional Path is $848 total. These prices apply to the current Orlando-area courses; travel courses may have different pricing.
